Guide: Import financial data with CSV
Role: Contributor
Outcome: The CSV records are validated and linked to the correct entity and period.
Before starting:
- Contributor or administrator access
- A legal entity and reporting period
- Source data available as a spreadsheet
Steps:
1. Open Import CSV
In Score control, select Import CSV. Choose the record type, legal entity, and reporting period.
2. Download the matching template
Select Download template. Use the provided column names for procurement, fixed assets, payroll, revenue, or supplier certificates.
3. Complete the template
Add your records without changing the column names. Save the file as UTF-8 CSV. The limit is 5,000 rows and 2 MB.
4. Preview the import
Choose the file and select Preview import. Auditro lists errors by row and field. Preview does not change any records.
5. Fix validation errors
Update the CSV using the validation messages, then preview it again. Continue when every row is ready.
6. Confirm the records
Select Confirm rows. Auditro checks the file again, saves the records, and records the import in Audit history.
Boundary: Uploading the same file again does not create duplicate records.
